Damas, an international jewellery retailer, has designed its in-house collections called ‘Crystal Aya’ and ‘Al Manthourah’ in ahead of Eid. Highlighting the month-long observance of Ramadan, Eid the 101-year old jeweller has designed Arabic and Islamic inspired jewels crafted in gold and precious stones.
“Our special offerings- ‘Crystal Aya’ and ‘Al Manthoura’ reflect the time-honored values that we Muslims share. They are special reminders of our heritage that can be passed on for many generations,” said MD of Damas, Tawhid Abdullah.
While the Crystal Aya pendant collection bears the world’s smallest complete rendition of the Holy Q’uran, Al Manthoura is inspired by the beauty and grace of the Arabian woman.
Crystal Aya pendant crafted mainly in high-grade crystal, is essentially a religious article that elegantly blends with day or evening wear. The centrepiece crystal, on which the Holy Quran is laser-inscribed, is framed with 18 karat white or yellow gold and is embellished with diamonds.
Al Manthoura collection presents the rich Arab tradition in gold executed with the greatest attention to detail and features minute links forming chains, tassels and intricate embroidery patterns. It weaves dream designs in 21 karat yellow gold and rich hand-painted enamels.
These collections are available at Damas shops throughout the Middle East.
