Rosy Blue has officially partnered with Jeddah-based Al Musalli Jewelry Group, to launch six of its brands - Omri, Ovio, Mist, La Posy, Suki and the Flotz Collection– in Jeddah, the Saudi Arabian Capital. As per the agreement, the Musali group will be the distributor of the 6 brands in Jeddah. The idea behind the launch is to offer a wider and superior variety of diamonds to its consumers in the region, build consumer confidence as well as expand their markets Gulf base.
The designs of the diamond collections are cosmopolitan and varied, in keeping with the tastes and preferences of the female consumers in Jeddah.
"The demand for quality diamond jewelry products in Jeddah continues to escalate and we are confident that the six exquisite Rosy Blue brands will be a success in the Kingdom, with their contemporary yet timeless designs made for everyday elegance to exclusively crafted pieces for the special moments of life," Sheikh Faisal Al Musalli, chairman, Al Musalli Jewelry Group was reported as saying.
Saudi Arabia is increasingly becoming a powerful market for luxury good. An industry report estimates that the regional luxury goods sector will reach a value of US$100 billion by 2010 of which US$8 billion will come from high-end watches and jewelry.
Rosy Blue is a leading diamond manufacturer and supplier of luxury diamond, based in Antwerp. It is largest sight holder of DTC and made its foray into the UAE market in 1999. Since then, its has successfully carved a niche for itself in the Gulf region.
Affirming this, Harshad Mehta, chairman, Rosy Blue FZE commented that they have received an overwhelming response to all six brands in the UAE and was hopeful of replicating its success in Jeddah together with Al Musali Jewelry team.
He added that Rosy Blue plans to launch additional diamond collections in 2008 in Jeddah.
