JAA Australian Jewellery Fair

Date :
16/03/2008 To 17/03/2008
Venue :
Brisbane Convention & Exhibition Centre, Corner Merivale & Glenelg Streets South Bank, Brisbane Queensland Australia
Description :

As the largest jewellery exhibition in the Asia Pacific region, the JAA Australian Jewellery Fairs showcase the hottest emerging trends from the best designers in Australia and all over the world. Maximise your visit to the Brisbane event and give yourself the commercial edge by following these simple guidelines.

•Treat the fair like a movie – you wouldn’t plan to stay for half a movie so make sure you set aside ample time to visit the whole show.

•Save time by pre-registering and by taking advantage of the exclusive accommodation specials available.

•If you have collected your Buyer Identification Card remember to bring it with you. This card will ensure your quick access to the show.

•Obtain your copy of the Fair Guide at the entrance - it is full of important information. Make sure you flick through it and study the floorplan, taking note of the seminars, presentations and exhibitors you specifically want to see and all the other vital areas including eateries and restrooms.

•Wear comfortable shoes.

•Use the JAA and Jeweller Magazine stands as resources to finding out all you need to know about what is happening in the industry.

•Learn from your colleagues and competitors – take advantage of the educational presentations onstage and ask exhibitors for information, quotations and prices.

•Complete fair questionnaires – organisers are always interested in learning how they can improve your experience.

•After you have inspected a full cross-section of products and services and determined which best suit your requirements, take advantage of show specials and restock for the coming season.

•Develop relationships with exhibitors - this is your chance to meet face to face with company representatives so ask them for their business cards and forthcoming catalogues for future reference.

•Keep the Fair Guide – it acts as a complete summary of the fair with exhibitor details and descriptions of the products and services on display and will prove essential should you wish to purchase anything after the event.

•When contacting exhibitors after the event, let the exhibitor know that you found out about them at the fair. Exhibitors love knowing that their efforts have been noticed.
