Harry Winston launched their New York Collection hosted by Slumdog Millionaire’s actoress, Freida Pinto recently. The fiesta was held at the Harry Winston Salon on 718 Fifth Avenue in New York.
Pinto played the perfect host at the exclusive cocktail party to celebrate the launch of the NY collection. Pinto was not the only one who made it there. Several other celebrities also brought in the glitterati like actor Gerard Butler, actress Jennifer Esposito, designer Jason Wu, models Astrid MunozModel and Oluchi Onweagba. To grace the event sportsman – Olympic Swimmer, Ryan Lochte and Harry Winston’s CEO, Thomas J. O’Neill and Creative Director, Sandrine de Laage were also present.
The collection is a new series of jewelry and timepieces inspired by the glamour and architecture of NYC. It includes reinterpretations of New York City romantic sunsets envisioned in the rarest ‘padparadscha’ sapphires, the striking spiral of the Guggenheim, handcrafted in diamonds, the scintillating brilliance of the city’s nightlife echoed in sparking diamonds, the flowing rivers of deep blue sapphires and the vivid emerald lawns of Central Park.
Lastly, De Laage explains, “New York has always been at the heart of Harry Winston. The energy, architecture, movement, and life of New York City constantly inspire Harry Winston designs. This Collection celebrates the inimitable spirit and infinite possibilities of this remarkable city.”
