The auction will feature a number of private collection as well specially curated sections. Christie’s have divided the auction into three sessions and it will take place at Hotel des Bergues, Geneva on 17 November 2008.
The highlight of the auction is the platinum Patek Philippe tourbillon watch No. 198’311, made especially for Henry Graves Jr. in 1932.
The personal A. Lange & Söhne collection of platinum wristwatches and the specially curated signed- limited group of Patek Philippe and Rolex watches retailed by Tiffany & Co., will also go under the hammer.
Watches from world of Jürgensen, Musical and Automaton Pocket Watches and others are also part of the auction.
